How is payment handled?
All virtual tours are invoiced and can be paid by check, online through PayPal’s secured service or by credit card (a 2.9% processing fee will be added to Paypal and credit card payments). We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
What happens after my listing is sold?
When the listing is removed from BRIGHT MLS, the virtual tour will not appear on the web site any longer. Tours can be manually deactivated as needed.
Does the virtual tour expire?
Yes, the virtual tour will expire in one year. However, tours can be renewed by contacting Joanna@CurbAppleaPhotos.com. A small fee applies for renewal.
What is 3D Matterport Photography?
Matterport has created a camera that allows for a 3D virtual tour experience. The best way to explain it is for you to check out the 3D Tour under the Tour Samples section. I will photograph your home with a special camera that allows people to feel like they are walking through your home.
Think of it as a virtual “Always Open House”. This tour makes it possible for people out of state to view your home, a great benefit to our military or a busy CEO. Or if a seller would prefer to not have strangers walking through their house while they are still living there or if tenants are uncooperative or simply unavailable, a 3D tour is a great solution.
What is your cancellation policy?
If the virtual tour is canceled before the scheduled photo shoot, you will not be charged. If photography has been completed you will be charged a $65 photographer’s fee. If the tour has been processed completely prior to cancellation, you will be charged in full.
I understand that things change quickly in real estate, and sometimes plans change at short notice including the weather. If you need to reschedule your virtual tour please call or text me right away. As long as I’m not en route I usually won’t charge a fee for rescheduling.
Who owns the photos you take for me?
I own the copyright to all photos and you pay to use them for your listing. This includes MLS posting, website postings, flyers, marketing materials etc. You cannot give the photos to another realtor for later use.
Why should I choose Curb Appeal Photos as my virtual tour provider?
I’m glad you asked that question.
1. I’ve been a real estate photographer for over 14 years in the Maryland, DC, Virginia area. I know the area very well and know how crazy this industry can be. It often takes flexibility, patience and some humor to get through the day.
2. I understand the sellers demands and do my best to move quickly and help get your photos to you ASAP so you can move forward!
3. I LOVE what I do. From the smallest condo to the largest estate I enjoy architecture and design and love showing it off through the art of photography.
4. I live local. Do you believe in shopping local? That’s me. Phone calls go directly to me. That’s a one-on-one personal relationship that calls to action!
